What is WWURD?

WWURD stands for “When We Understand Right Division” and it is a statement that can be finished in a number of ways.  For example:

When We Understand Right Division the Bible finally makes sense to us.

When We Understand Right Division all the supposed contradictions in Scripture are explained.

When We Understand Right Division the Gospel becomes so much more clear to the student of the Bible.

When We Understand Right Division we avoid the tremendous risk of placing ourselves back under the Law program.

When We Understand Right Division what salvation is and how it is that one gets salvation is made more clear.

When We Understand Right Division we no longer have to deny or make excuses for certain verses within the Bible.

WWURD.com is a not-for-profit ministry that desires to fulfill the Christian’s true “Great Commission”:

And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

2 Corinthians 5:18-20

WWURD’s goal is to provide a variety of free resources that will assist the Christian in committing to faithful service to God through the preaching of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery (Rom 16:25).  Our hope is that this website will prove to be a valuable resource for edifying fellow believers and for exposing unbelievers to the glorious message of God’s grace. This site is intended to promote and encourage personal Bible study and a proper understanding of Mid-Acts Pauline Dispensationalism for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.

We do not pretend to know all things “Bible” as we learn and grow in grace daily – we intend only to allow the Holy Spirit inspired words on the page to speak clearly, simply, and literally – allowing them alone to be our guide (2 Pet 1:20-21).  “Let God be true, but every man a liar…” (Rom 3:4a).

Salvation is simple.  If one believes/trusts in what Christ has done on their behalf (Eph 2:8-9), they are then saved for all eternity, without the possibility of falling away.  The apostle Paul writes to the Corinthian believers and cautions them away from those who would preach any other gospel (like the gospel of the circumcision (Gal 2:7-9) or the gospel of the kingdom (Mk 1:14-15)) other than the gospel of pure free grace committed unto him by the risen and glorified Lord Jesus Christ (2 Tim 2:8):

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you THE gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

1 Corinthians 15:1-4
