Mid-Acts Pauline Dispensationalism is primarily concerned with making salvation clear. The fact of the matter is that a large percentage of those who call themselves “Christian” are not saved and do not have eternal life with their Creator to look forward to. This is largely due to deception and it is deception that comes in various forms. One form of deception is a direct attack upon the Gospel. Most who call themselves “Christian” have received a Gospel presentation that is ambiguous, cloudy, incomplete, and often misleading. Rightly dividing the Scriptures removes the confusion, makes salvation clear, and presents a thorough and accurate Gospel message.
Mid-Acts Pauline Dispensationalism, often referred to as Mid-Acts Dispensationalism or “Right Division,” recognizes the importance of the mystery of Christ revealed to the apostle Paul as doctrine particular to the Church, the body of Christ, within our present dispensation.
If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: [Ephesians 3:2-6]
Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: [Colossians 1:25-28]
Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: [Romans 16:25-26]
Most who study the Bible affirm and teach that the most important division within the Bible is between the Old Testament and the New Testament. A smaller percentage of those who call themselves Christian place their most important division as being between Israel and the Church. Mid-Acts Pauline Dispensationalism teaches that the most important distinction that a Christian can make within the Bible is “right division” between God’s Mystery program, “kept secret since the world began,” and God’s Prophecy program, which had been “spoken since the world began” (compare Romans 16:25-26 against Acts 3:19-21).
Recognition of the “mystery of Christ” revealed to the apostle Paul for our understanding and obedience of faith brings clarity to the theological confusion that is created by blending together Prophecy and Mystery doctrines. This blending of doctrines is far too common within the Christian Church today. Mid-Acts Pauline Dispensationalism, or Right Division, solves the confusion that exists within the controversial doctrines found within Christendom. That list of controversial doctrines includes:
- Salvation
- Baptism
- Israel and the Church
- Faith and Works
- Sign Gifts
- God’s Will
- Tongues
- End Times
Jesus instructs the Church, the body of Christ, to identify the apostle Paul as our pattern to follow (see 1 Tim 1:16; 1 Cor 4:16; 1 Cor 11:1, Jn 13:20). Right Division teaches that the instructions to the Church, the body of Christ, are found in Paul’s writings alone. A failure to operate according to the Lord’s revelations to the apostle Paul often leads to bad theology and frustration found through denominational traditions. Traditions within the Church are varied and include such subjects as:
- The Great Commission
- Confession
- Tithing
- Prayer
- Communion
- Predestination
- Sabbaths and Holy Days
Right Division discards empty tradition for Biblical authority and focuses upon sound doctrine and life changing Bible study. Right Division stands in contrast to fads, gimmicks, Christian celebrities, soothing repetitive music that contains poor theology, and Sunday morning light shows that are nothing more than entertainment designed to keep you from hearing the truth.

Praise God that the only verse that instructs us to study also instructs us why (to become unashamed workmen) and how (rightly dividing the word of truth).
When we recognize the differences between God’s program for His earthly, covenant people, True Israel (Romans 9:6), who will have an earthly Kingdom ruled by their Messiah, and His heavenly, spiritual people, the Body of Christ, who NOW have “all spiritual blessings in heavenly places” (Ephesians 1:3) because we have been “accepted in the Beloved” (Ephesians 1:6) when we trusted the Gospel of God’s Grace, the Bible makes sense.
